Dillon Ridge Road Stabilization Complete

The contractor finished removing bad subgrade materials and installing good roadbase over geogrid this week. Thanks for everyone's patience during construction.

The next photo shows the typical pavement subgrade repair. The subgrade is rolled out and checked for firmness; then the geogrid is rolled out and new roadbase is placed over it. In most places we were able to go down about 12"-15" to find competent subgrade materials.

WEEK OF OCTOBER 4th:

On Monday, 10/4, the contractor will start final grading the street with a motor grader.

There be a small soft spot or two to fix.....stay tuned.

The plan is to pave the street Mid-week depending on weather and asphalt availability.
