Tenderfoot & LaBonte UPDATE

The contractor finished all of the utility work on LaBonte Street this week and started prepping the ground for the new concrete curb and gutter along the west side of LaBonte Street next to the Church and the Museum.

SCHEDULED WORK FOR THE WEEK OF AUGUST 9TH:

Monday 8/9: The contractor will be pouring a portion of concrete curb and gutter along the west side of the street. The contractor will also start on the sidewalks in the new Museum parking lot.

TUESDAY 8/10: The contractor will remove the INTERSECTION AT LaBonte and Tenderfoot.

EXPECT 30-45 Minute DELAYS if you come through this intersection during construction this WEEK. Other routes are advised.

Later in the week, the concrete crews will be pouring the remainder of the concrete curb and gutter and sidewalks along the west side of LaBonte Street. A new traffic calming island will also be installed in LaBonte Street next to the museum.

WEEK OF AUGUST 16TH: The contractor will finish the concrete, topsoil behind the sidewalk and pave the intersection and complete other asphalt patches on laBonte Street. Project should be completed by the end of the this week, weather permitting.
