Tenderfoot Hill Paving on Thursday

The contractor has imported, placed and compacted the roadbase on Tenderfoot Hill.

Today they are adjusting the manhole lids to the top of the new pavement elevation.

The contractor plans to pave the first lift of the road tomorrow morning (Thursday 6/30).

The second top layer will be completed the week of July 11th when they overlay Tenderfoot Between Lower Gold Circle and LaBonte at the top of the hill.

The contractor postponed the rest of the concrete sidewalk work on the hill and focused on paving the road to get ahead of the rainy weather over the holiday weekend and protect the road subgrade from erosion.
